2014 is a year that I plan to focus on portraits. As I mentioned in the past portraits is one of my favorite thing to do in photography. Of course I already do a lot of portraits of my daughter but I will go outside of my comfort zone and photograph "real people". Ok I already cheated as Vanessa is not "real people" but I'll try to improve in the near future. I tried... I tried hard not to flood this blog with photos of my daughter but I failed. I love her and I want to take a million of photos of her. She's beautiful, funny and entertaining. She's my inspiration. When I go on the streets to shoot I don't have the same spark than capturing a glimpse of her amazingness...
Santa was very nice to me this christmas, he got me a brand new sony A7 with a brand new voigtlander 35 1.2. Ok it wasn't santa. It was me... but I did wrap it and wait until the 25th so I would really enjoy it. I really did. I was especially nervous that I would be disappointed since I already have a olympus OM-D EM-5 and I am very happy with it. So... I am not disappointed at all. We are in a new league here... Much better quality in high iso. Much more details and better resolution. the colors are richer and deeper. One thing that I really enjoy is the remote ios application that I can use for self-portraits.
